SEPTEMBER 2004 - EVENTS Thursday 20 Al Hunter, author of ‘Spirit Horses’ has been invited by the Canadian Embassy in Washington, D.C. to read from his book which will be presented as VIP gifts at the opening of the National Museum of the American Indian, the last Smithsonian to be built on the National Mall. The Museum event is for Canadian officials, Museum experts and key staff, select members of Congress and high profile Washingtonians. The event takes place on September 20/ 2004.
