How soon or late they gather will reflect how soon or late winter will set in, but it will always take place in conjunction with the setting of autumn. It is the voice of Mother Earth pulsating through the plants to the insects, birds, and animals, letting them know that it is time to go. What insects, birds and animals do in answer to Mother Earth’s beckoning is nothing more nor nothing less than it is time to do this because this is taking place.”
